Snap for 9550733 from 445820becc81f084144cbcabe9065b283e95df9a to mainline-tzdata5-release Change-Id: I98b48b9b46cad2820fa37e91d4be77eb0c015267
Implements the Xorshift random number generator.
The Xorshift[^1] algorithm is not suitable for cryptographic purposes but is very fast. If you do not know for sure that it fits your requirements, use a more secure one such as StdRng
or OsRng
.

rand_xorshift
is no_std
compatible. It does not require any functionality outside of the core
lib, thus there are no features to configure.
The serde1
feature includes implementations of Serialize
and Deserialize
for the included RNGs.
